This past Thursday, my friend Asyana and I decided to go on an impromptu thrifting hunt. We headed out to the Value Village out in New Hope, Minnesota and spent a good hour digging through the endless aisles of secondhand clothing. We both had great luck at this Thrift Store. So much so that we ended up having to pick and choose which items we could live without, as neither of us wanted to spend more than fifty bucks at one thrift store. We left thrilled with our finds, and I can honestly say I have never been so pleased with a thrifting haul. My favorite find is the simple red polka dot dress. It’s a little worn, but I think I’ll be working some sewing machine magic on it soon. I think it’ll make a super adorable crop top and skirt outfit. Maybe I’ll post the transformation once I have time to actually sit down and create it. Anyway, thrifting is an absolute blast. It’s a great way to save money, find stuff you can’t find in department stores, and unleash your creative mind. I hope you enjoy this post!
